A Cultural Tourism Activity Model: A Case study of Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Muang District, Kamphaengphet Province

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: study cultural tourism activities of Nakorn Chum


sub-district, Muang District, Kamphaengphet Province. The research instruments were a


questionnaire. Data was collected from 398 tourists and was analysed using frequency.


The findings revealed that the 3 most popular tourist attractions in Nakhon Chum


included Nakhon Chum Historical Market, Phraborommathat and Sawangarom temple.


The three most popular tourist activities for visitors to Nakhon Chum included visiting


Nakhon Chum Historical Market, paying respect to Phraborommathat Chedi, and taking


pictures at tourist attractions. The top three tourist activities that the visitors wanted to learn


from the local people were cooking local food, understanding the lifestyle of the people,


and praying at Wat Phraborommathat.
