การประเมินมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจของป่าชุมชนแบบมีส่วนร่วม : บ้านเขาวังเยี่ยม ตําบลนาบ่อคํา อําเภอเมือง จังหวัดกําแพงเพชร

บทคัดย่อ

This participatory survey research employed both quantitative and qualitative

techniques aiming to evaluate the economic value of Ban Khao Wangyiam’s community

forest based on the aspects including the people’s living activities related to the forest, the

value of the trees. The gained data could be used for decision making on resource

management and for people to learn how to manage and conserve the forest effectively.

The subjects of the study were 101 families in the area of Ban Khao Wangyiam, Nabokham

subdistrict, Muang Kamphaeng Phet. The research tools included a questionnaire and

structured interviewing. The calculation of the total value of the forest yield and that of

the trees was based on the market prices of the products gained from the forest. The data

analysis revealed that the forest grossed economic value was 4,457,635 baht/year which

was 44,135 baht/family/year and 3,678 baht/family/month. The grossed economic value

of the trees was 59,190,900 baht. The tree with highest price was teak wood (18,925,000).

The total economic value of young trees was 2,743,000 baht. The tree that has highest

value was Sathorn (Millettia leucantha) which was worth 712,000 baht. Fruits and bamboo

were worth the least (432,820 baht). The figures showed the abundance of the woods and

food the forest gave to the people. Related agencies should use this information to make

the people realise the importance of the community forest and help protect it.
