ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP OF ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE KANCHANABURI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 3

The purposes of this research were to 1) examine the academic leadership of school administrators 2) the internal quality assurance operations in schools and 3) the influence of academic leadership of school administrators on the internal quality assurance operations, The research design employs a mixed-methods approach, the conceptual framework of this research consists of the concepts of academic leadership and the implementation of internal quality assurance in educational institutions. The samples consisted of administrators and teachers in schools. there were 299 people using a stratified random sampling based on educational service areas. The research instrument, questionnaire with content validity 1.00, the reliability at 0.98. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and simple regression analysis. Statistical significance level at 0.05. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The academic leadership of school administrators was at a high level overall. When considered by aspects, all aspects were also at a high level. The mean scores, ranked from highest to lowest, were as follows: the highest were the learning-supportive environment and student development, followed by curriculum and instructional management, the formulation of school vision, mission, and goals, and professional development of teachers and personnel, respectively. 2) The internal quality assurance operations in were at a high level overall. When considered by aspects, all aspects were also at a high level. The mean scores, ranked from highest to lowest, were as follows: the highest was the preparation of self-assessment reports, followed by the implementation of the school development plan, the establishment of educational standards, and the evaluation and internal quality audit. Next were the monitoring of implementation for school quality improvement, the preparation of the educational development plan, and school quality development, respectively. And 3) The academic leadership of administrators affecting the implementation of internal quality assurance in educational institutions revealed that the academic leadership of administrators (x) had a regression coefficient of 0.98 and a prediction coefficient equal to 0.957, This indicates that it could predict the implementation of internal quality assurance in educational institutions (y) at 95.57 percent and could be used to create a regression equation, which is = 0.10 + 0.98X หรือ
