This research aimed to: 1) examine the public needs regarding smart city development implemented by the Kanchanaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, and 2) propose operational recommendations to enhance smart city development in the province. The study employed a quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 400 residents selected from the Kanchanaburi Provincial Administrative Organization area. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The findings revealed that overall public needs for smart city development were at a high level. When analyzed by dimension, the highest mean score was found in the area of public safety in housing (M = 4.50), followed by public administration (M = 4.46). Based on the findings, operational recommendations are proposed in four key areas: public utilities, transportation systems, economic development, and political governance, in order to strengthen sustainable smart city development in Kanchanaburi Province.
