EVALUATION OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INFORMAL DEBT RESOLUTION PROJECT A CASE STUDY OF WIANG CHIANG RUNG DISTRICT, CHIANG RAI PROVINCE

This research aimed to: 1) evaluate the Government’s Informal Debt Resolution Project in Wiang Chiang Rung District, Chiang Rai Province by employing the CIPP Model, and 2) propose recommendations for improving the project in this area. The sample consisted of 57 participants who registered for the government’s informal debt resolution program in Wiang Chiang Rung District, selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included questionnaires and interviews with officials involved in the project. The evaluation was conducted based on the four components of the CIPP Model, along with collecting participant’s opinions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results revealed that the overall evaluation of the Government’s Informal Debt Resolution Project in Wiang Chiang Rung District was at the highest level. The process component demonstrated the highest level of performance, followed by the input component, which also reached the highest level. These components played a crucial role in the project’s success and provide a practical foundation for further development and improvement of the program.
