Abstract

This academic article aims to present key concepts related to human resource management in tutorial schools in Thailand to enhance students’ learning. Through an analysis and synthesis of relevant concepts, theories, and research, it was found that tutorial schools must implement five key stages of human resource management:  1) recruitment and selection  2) staff development  3) utilization of human resources  4) employee retention and  5) performance management. Furthermore, the study identifies six steps for promoting student learning: 1) analyzing students’ interests  2) analyzing knowledge content and learning activities  3) identifying appropriate learning styles and diversifying instructional methods  4) designing learning units, lesson planning, and increasing flexibility in learning schedules  5) evaluating the effectiveness of instructional models and methods and 6) developing teachers’ competencies in facilitating student learning.  The ultimate goal is to improve students’ academic achievement, foster satisfaction and trust among students and parents, and enhance the reputation of tutorial school businesses. In today’s volatile global environment, where nations must continually adapt and revise their policies—including Thailand—it is essential for all sectors to develop competitive advantages. Therefore, recruiting high-quality personnel and promoting their potential to perform effectively are critical to the success and sustainability of educational organizations.
