DESIGNS AI PLATFORM TO CREATES GRAPHIC WORKS BASED ON DESIGN THINKING OF VOCATIONAL STUDENTS

Abstract

         This article demonstrates the role and methods of using a platform called Designs AI to enhance the efficiency of graphic design creation based on the design thinking approach of vocational students. Graphic design is a necessary discipline and art in today's business world and communication. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in graphic design not only increases work efficiency but also fosters the creativity of vocational students. The Design AI platform supports the creation of graphic design in an educational context and the development of vocational students' skills by applying a design thinking framework with three phases: understanding the problem, developing creative ideas, and delivering the final product. These three phases can all benefit from Design AI in students' creative work and learning processes.

Firstly, AI is used in the design process to help designers save time and increase work efficiency, assisting in generating ideas or processing relevant design data quickly and accurately. Secondly, it facilitates learning and skill development. Vocational students can use AI technology to learn design concepts and processes, potentially providing them with more tools for experimentation and creation, thereby enhancing their problem-solving-focused design thinking skills. Lastly, using AI in graphic design allows students to produce high-quality work and stay competitive in the labor market. AI can assist in fine-tuning details or adding variety to the creative output.
