COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROMOTION IN PA KOO LANG VILLAGE, KANCHANABURI PROVINCE

This study aims to examine the economic conditions and public participation in Pa Koo Lang village, Nong Prue district, Kanchanaburi province. Data were collected from 140 respondents using questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings indicated that public participation in economic development processes was at a moderate level, particularly in the planning phase, which requires further skill and knowledge enhancement. Challenges identified include agricultural price instability and insufficient infrastructure, impacting the community’s development. The study recommends increasedsupport from relevant organizations and strengthened community networks to achieve sustainable development.
