Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Participatory Management of Home, Temple, and School Network in Preventing and Solving Drug Problems Huanakham Subdistrict Srithat District Udon Thani Province

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) examine the level of participation of the home, temple, school, and community network in preventing and resolving drug problems in the community, and 2) conduct confirmatory factor analysis on the participation of this network in preventing and resolving drug problems in Huana Kham Subdistrict. This was a quantitative research study. The sample consisted of 450 household heads or their representatives residing in Huana Kham Subdistrict, obtained through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis employed confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using AMOS software and descriptive statistics including percentages, means, and standard deviations. The results of the study found that 1) The overall level of participation of the home, temple, school, and community networks in the prevention and resolution of drug problems in the community was high. When considering each aspect, the participation of the community network had the highest mean, and the participation of the home network had the lowest mean. 2) The confirmatory factor analysis results on the participation of the home, temple, school, and community network in preventing and resolving drug problems in Huana Kham Subdistrict were consistent with the empirical data.
