Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of leadership in the digital age, characterized by rapid changes driven by technology and innovation that impact organizational operations and decision-making processes. Particularly, it focuses on the response to the continuously evolving demands of consumers. The research conducts a literature review related to leadership in a digital context to identify the necessary skills and attributes for leaders in this era. The findings reveal that effective leaders in the digital age must possess skills in utilizing information technology, fostering innovation, and engaging team members to enhance work efficiency and respond swiftly to market changes. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the development of appropriate leadership capabilities contributes to the resilience of organizations and their competitive advantage. This research is significant in establishing guidelines for developing leaders in the digital age, preparing them and their organizations to face challenges arising from technological advancements and consumer demands in the future, especially in a context where market competition is increasingly fierce and complex.
