An Assessment of the Needs Is Necessary for the Development of Teacher Learning Management at Demonstration School of Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University
Abstract
The purposes of this study were (1) to assess the needs for teacher development on learning management; (2) to sort of the needs for teacher development on learning management; and (3) to guideline for teacher development on learning management at Demonstration School of Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University. The sample consists of teachers from Demonstration School of Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University. There were 60 subjects chosen by cluster sampling. The instruments used in this study included the questionnaire of the needs for teacher development and the attitude test developed by researcher. The data were statistically analyzed by using the frequency, percentage, mean, and sort of priority setting of the needs for teacher development. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The teacher s' needs on knowledge for development on learning management were classroom action research, Phenomenon-based learning and using STEM Education. The teachers' attitudes toward the learning management were at a moderate level of 49.88 percent. 2) The sort of the needs for teacher development on learning management were behavior, knowledge, and attitudes respectively. 3) Guidelines for teachers’ knowledge to develop learning management in teaching were self-learning activities, conclusion, and classroom action research. The learning management on behavior should relate with background knowledge, encourage the students in learning participation, use research in classroom and evaluate from authentic assessment.
