Model Development of National Online Conference for Research Presentation of Vocational Education Institutions

Abstract
This study aimed to: (1) explore a model for organizing national academic conferences for the online presentation of research works in vocational education institutions and (2) evaluate the appropriateness of implementing such a model.
The research was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, a draft model was developed through a review of relevant literature and previous studies. Expert opinions were then obtained from 27 purposively selected individuals with expertise in research methodology, academic writing, journal publication, and conference presentation. In the second phase, the model’s implementation was assessed by 30 selected experts, including editorial board members of academic journals from vocational and higher education institutions, as well as members of organizing committees of national online research conferences.
The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean scores, standard deviations, and percentages. The findings revealed that (1) the experts expressed the highest level of agreement with all aspects of the proposed online national academic conference model for vocational education institutions. Finally, (2) the overall appropriateness of implementing the model was also rated at the highest level across all evaluated criteria.
