Abstract

This academic article aims to study the adaptation of the Phi Ta Khon Festival in the context of cultural tourism, particularly in Dan Sai District, Loei Province, where this tradition has been preserved for generations. the study examines how this traditional festival has evolved to accommodate modern cultural tourism. The findings reveal significant adaptations in various aspects, including event organization, mask and costume production, and the creation of supplementary activities to attract tourists. However, the community continues to maintain the essence of traditional rituals and beliefs amid social and cultural changes.
