Peer Review Process
Submission
The author(s) submit the manuscript that fits the aims and scope of the journal and is formatted correctly according to the journal's author guidelines via the ThaiJo system.
Initial Editorial Review
The Editorial Assistants will evaluate manuscripts for aim and scope, format, completeness of required sections, and originality (ensuring similarity with other sources is less than 25% using CopyCatch), and JLCS Journal’s Ethical Principles and Standards.
The Editor-in-Chief assigns at least the appropriate 2 reviewers.
Peer Review
The selected reviewers evaluate the manuscripts and provide one of the following decisions:
Accept without revision
Accept with minor revisions
Accept with major revisions
Reject
If revisions are required, the author(s) will be notified of the reviewers’ decision via the ThaiJo system before proceeding to publication. All manuscripts are reviewed under a double-blind system to ensure transparency, impartiality, and the maintenance of academic standards throughout the evaluation process. (14 days)
Revision
The author(s) are required to revise the manuscript based on the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations. (14 days)
Evaluation of Revised Manuscripts
Revised manuscripts are sent to the reviewers for reevaluation to determine whether the authors have satisfactorily addressed the comments and revision requirements. Manuscripts with minor or major revisions that meet the required standards are considered for publication. However, manuscripts requiring substantial additional revisions must undergo another round of peer review before a final decision is made.
Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. During this stage, the authors may be contacted for additional information, clarification, or verification if necessary.
Copyediting and Artwork
The journal manager team copyedits the accepted manuscript to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the journal’s formatting guidelines. The formatted version is then sent to the author(s) for review and confirmation before proceeding to publication.
Final Proofreading
The formatted draft of the article is sent to the author(s) for review and confirmation, and then returned to the journal manager team.
Publication
The author(s) will receive a notification together with an official acceptance letter for publication. The article will then be published online via the ThaiJo platform according to the journal’s release schedule.
