Original format and submission
Requirements for Preparation and Submission of Originals
1.1) All original submissions : must be submitted online through the online original submission and verification system.
1.2) Contact Information : At the time of submission of the manuscript, the main author must provide complete contact information (affiliation, address/email address, and phone number) and must include the first and last name, email address, and institutional affiliation of all co-authors. After submitting the manuscript, the main author will receive a confirmation of acceptance and the manuscript number. Authors will be able to track the status of the manuscript through the online system after submitting the manuscript.
1.3) Previous Editor's and Peer's Opinions : According to ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors' Recommendations), if the original article has been submitted to another journal, the editor's and previous editor's and peer-reviewed comments must be included with the original article. Sharing this information will not prejudice the editorial decision for this journal.
Therefore, the author must submit all previous comments and indicate how the author has edited the manuscript in response to those comments.
1.4) Cover Letter : A cover letter and complete contact information for the main author (affiliation, postal address/email address, and phone number) must be provided.
1.5) Manuscript Format : Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition and/or the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals.
1.6) Original Elements : Includes Title Page Abstract, Content, References
Image captions and tables in the source file, each section must start a new page in order, starting from the title page. Images should be submitted as attachments (1 file per image), but must not be included in the original content.
1.7) Recommended file size : Each file size is not more than 500 KB and not more than 1 MB, and the total size for all files is not more than 5 MB (excluding any video files).
1.8) Original file format : Submit the original article as a document in Microsoft Word format, do not submit the original in PDF format using a font size of 10, 11 or 12 points, double the spacing between the lines, and leave the right edge unaligned (uneven).
1.9) Title page : The title page should be the first page of the original file, it should contain the original title, the full name of the highest educational qualification, and the affiliation of all the authors (if the affiliation of the author has changed since the completion of the work, the new affiliation should also be specified). 1.10) Title : The title should be short, concise, and specific, and please limit the length of the title to no more than 100 characters (including spaces) for research reports and other articles. Announcement Title For clinical trial reports, enter the type of study as a subtitle (e.g., randomized clinical trials, meta-analysis). For other types of research reports, do not include the type or design of the study in the title or subtitle. To read more about the title, check out the AMA Manual of Style.
1.11) Citation List : The author is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the reference list and accurate text citations. Reference numbers in the order they appear in the message. Do not alphabetize the text. Tables and subtitles are cited in Arabic numerals. When listing citations, follow the AMA format and abbreviate the journal name according to the journal listing in PubMed. Note: Journal citations should have the issue number in parentheses after the book number.
Guidelines for Writing Research Articles and Other Types of Articles
Original Article
Research papers should be written with a clear and systematic structural pattern. So that readers can follow and understand the content correctly. The elements are as follows:
1.1) Title page : The title should be concise and convey the main content of the research.
1.2) Abstract : Summarize the main content of the research concisely and comprehensively, with the following structure:
1.2.1 Background and Objectives of the Research
1.2.2 Methods and tools used in the study (experimental system and procedure)
1.2.3 Results obtained from the research
1.2.4 Let's summarize the important
1.2.5 The abstract should be about 200 words long.
1.3) Keywords : Identify 3 - 5 keywords related to the main content of the research to help readers and search engines find the article more easily (read more about making your article easier to find, including information on title and search engine optimization).
1.4) Main Content : It consists of the following parts:
1.4.1 Introduction : Mention the Background Importance and Objectives of the Research
1.4.2 Study Method : Describe in detail the methods and tools used in the study.
1.4.3 Results : Present the results obtained from the research clearly and systematically.
1.4.4 Discussion : Analyze and interpret the results and link them to other research and propose conclusions. 1.4.5 Acknowledgments : Acknowledgments to those who participated in the research.
1.4.6 Conflict of Interest Statement: Provide information about the existence of a conflict of interest (if any).
1.4.7 References: Lists all the references used in the research.
1.4.8 Appendix: (if any) Add information or details that are inconvenient to include in the main content.
1.4.9 Table : (on the split page) Present data in a tabular format with subtitles under the table.
1.4.10 Image: Present information in image format.
1.4.11 Image Captions : (Listed) Describe the details of each image.
1.5) Additional Requirements for Research Papers: The length of the article should be between 2,500 and 5,000 words (including tables, reference lists, captions, footnotes, and endnotes). It can contain up to 5 tables and/or images.
1.6) Key Statements: No more than 5 short bullet points should be included that summarize the main message of the article. Letter to the Editor
2.1 The length is not more than 400 words (including the title, content, name and address of the author, and a maximum of 2 references).
2.2 Tables and pictures are not allowed. 2.3 No Keywords Required Perspectives
Presenting new academic approaches or perspectives on education development for healthcare professionals from education experts in the health profession. The length ranges from 750 - 1,500 words, written in the first person.
Review
It is an academic review article in the field of health sciences on important issues, innovations, or new ideas, the length is between 1,500 - 3,000 words, and there can be a maximum of 5 reference lists (if any).
Research Articles (Original Article) are articles that present research, studies, educational innovations, educational administration innovations, curriculum and teaching, and innovations in health professions management.
Academic articles (Brief report) are academic articles or research in medical education that have not yet gone through the Peer-Review process.
A review article is a review of academic articles or medical education literature on interesting or innovative topics.
Perspective is an article in the form of a critique or explanation of supporting reasons for issues that one agrees with and has different opinions from an academic perspective.
Letters to the Editor are personal opinions expressed on research published in the journal and are useful for the development of medical education.
