Keywords:
Computer Assisted Instruction, Momentum and CollisionsAbstract
The purpose of this study is (1) to develop the Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 with an Efficiency Standard of 75/75 (2) to determine the Effectiveness Index of the Computer Assisted Instruction for physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 (3) to compare the learning outcomes before and after using the Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on Momentum and Collisions for Secondary 5 and (4) to analyze the satisfaction survey toward the Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on Momentum and Collisions for Mathayom 5. The experiment was conducted with a single group sample before and after using the Computer Assisted Instruction (One-Group: Pretest-Posttest Design). The sample consisted of 40 students from 5/4 class, Semester 1, Academic Year 2019, Bunluawittayanusorn School, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, obtained through cluster random sampling. The research tools created by the researcher included the Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on Momentum and Collisions, with a difficulty index (P) ranging from 0.27 to 0.73 and a Discrimination Power (B) ranging from 0.20 to 0.65, and an overall reliability of 0.838. The satisfaction survey had an overall reliability of 0.837. The Data were collected and analyzed to find the effectiveness score (E1/E2) and effectiveness index (E.I.). Hypothesis test is the t-test (Dependent Sample) to collate the Learning Outcomes Before and After Using the Computer-Assisted Instruction, and used the mean and standard deviation to analyze the satisfaction survey. The results revealed that 1) Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 has an effectiveness score (E1/E2) of 78.86/77.33, which is higher than the standard of 75/75 2) Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 has an effectiveness index of 78.86/77.33, which is higher than the set standard of 75/75. The computer-assisted learning lesson on physics, topic of momentum and collisions for Secondary 5, has an effectiveness index (E.I.) Equal to 0.735, indicating that the students' knowledge increased by 0.735, or 73.50%. 3) Students who used Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 had significantly higher learning outcomes after the lesson compared to before the lesson, at a statistical significance level of .05. Students who used Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 had significantly higher post-learning academic performance compared to pre-learning at the .05 level. 4) Students' satisfaction with learning through Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5 is overall at a high level. Students are highly satisfied with learning through Computer Assisted Instruction for Physics on the momentum and collisions for Mathayom 5
