Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to study the effect of teaching management using STAD combined with the Domino game on the academic achievement in Thai language, specifically the topic of synonyms, of Mathayom Suksa 3 students at Banklongnokkratung (Riang Rat Uthit 2) School, and (2) to study the students' satisfaction with the teaching management using STAD combined with the Domino game. The sample used in this research consists of 20 Mathayom Suksa 3 Students at Banklongnokkratung (Riang Rat Uthit 2) School in the second semester of the 2023 academic year. The research instruments include (1) a learning management plan using STAD combined with the Domino game, (2) an academic achievement test in Thai language on synonyms using the Plickers application, and (3) a satisfaction test on the learning management using STAD combined with the Domino game using Google Forms. The statistics used for data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, relative development score, and independent sample          t-test. 1. The pre-test scores before the STAD learning management combined with the Domino game had an average of 5.65 points and a standard deviation of 1.03 points. The post-test scores after the STAD learning management combined with the Domino game had an average of 9.20 points and a standard deviation of 1.43 points. The comparison of the average scores before and after the STAD learning management combined with the Domino game concluded that the test results of Thai language achievement on the topic of synonyms for Mathayom Suksa 3 Students students at Banklongnokkratung (Riang Rat Uthit 2) were significantly higher after learning than before learning at the .05 level, with an average relative improvement of 37.97%. 2. The satisfaction scores for the STAD learning management combined with the Domino game in the Thai language course on synonyms were overall at a high level.
