Needs Assessment and Participation in Educational Quality Assurance at Horwang School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 2

The objectives of this research were: 1) to assess the needs in educational quality assurance at Horwang School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 2, and 2) to study participation in educational quality assurance at Horwang School. This quantitative research involved a population of teachers and personnel at Horwang School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 2. The target group consisted of 30 teachers responsible for four administrative departments at Horwang School. The research instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire. Statistics used included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Modified Priority Needs Index. Research findings: 1.The assessment of participation in educational quality assurance at Horwang School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 2 across four general administrative departments revealed that the expected conditions were at the highest level overall, while the actual conditions were at a high level overall. When considering the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified), the overall value was 0.24. In detail, the aspect with the highest needs index was Personnel Administration (0.27), followed by Budget Administration (0.26), General Administration (0.25), and Academic Administration (0.17). 2.Teacher participation in internal quality assurance at Horwang School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 2 was at a high level overall. When considering individual aspects, all were at high levels, ranked from highest to lowest as follows: 1) Academic Administration, 2) General Administration, 3) Budget Administration, and 4) Personnel Administration.
