Abstract
The research on the results of using the LINE application to track learners on the academic achievement in the Thai language subject of Mathayom 6 students at Ritthiyawannalai School in the academic year 2021 has the following objectives: 1) to follow up on students who have problems with submitting assignments in the Thai language subject, Mathayom 6 level, academic year 2021, and 2) to develop students' academic achievement in the Thai language subject. Secondary 6 Students The target group used in this research was 644 Secondary 6 students in the 2021 academic year of Ritthiyawannalai School. The research instruments were 1) E-Learning lessons, Thai Language 5 (Th33101) and Thai Language 6 (Th33102), Secondary 6, consisting of content, assignments and tests; 2) LINE groups "Thai Language, Mathayom 6, 2021" and "64 - Follow up and improve Thai Language, Mathayom 6". Data was analyzed by finding the average ( ) from the academic achievement as the academic achievement level at the end of each semester. The research results found that students with problems with submitting assignments submitted more assignments and took tests because their academic achievement in Thai was at a higher level. Even though in the second semester, students' academic achievements at levels 0 and R increased than in the first semester, the researcher solved this problem by creating a specific LINE group to fix and follow up on students with academic achievements at levels 0 and R to take make-up exams. This resulted in this group of students passing the academic performance and resulting in fewer students with academic performance at level 0 and R. In addition, the academic performance of students in the Thai language subject, Mathayom 6, was at a higher level. In the first semester, 92.9 percent of students obtained academic performance at level 3 or higher and 1.4 percent received academic performance at level 0, R. In the second semester, 78.5 percent of students obtained academic performance at level 3 or higher and 2.9 percent received academic performance at level 0, R, which was consistent with the hypothesis. In addition, the results of following up, correcting, and helping students with academic performance at level 0 and R in the Thai language subject after joining the LINE group found that 18 students had academic performance at level 0 and R, 11 students passed the make-up exam, which is 61.11 percent, and 7 students failed or did not contact the make-up exam, which is a solution to the academic performance problem, resulting in fewer students with academic performance at level 0 and R.
