Abstract

This research aimed to develop a training curriculum on natural fabric printing (Eco Print) for children and youth in the Ban Phonphiman Handicraft Group, Rangsit Subdistrict, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, and to examine the results of implementing the curriculum. The study adopted Participatory Action Research (PAR) and qualitative data collection methods, conducted in three phases: (1) community needs and background assessment, (2) curriculum development, and (3) curriculum implementation. The findings revealed that (1) in the curriculum development phase, the final curriculum consisted of five learning units covering knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The curriculum emphasized hands-on workshop activities. Experts assessed the curriculum as appropriate and adaptable across various contexts. (2) In the implementation phase, learners demonstrated increased knowledge and understanding of Eco Print techniques, as well as creativity, teamwork, environmental awareness, and pride in their work. They showed enthusiasm to share their work and knowledge with family and community members. The results indicate that the curriculum effectively promotes experiential learning and fosters sustainable preservation of local wisdom.
