Right Livelihood Implementation in Practical Life

Abstract

This academic paper aims to illustrate the livelihood which is the fifth of eightfold path, refers to virtuous works, without wrong jobs. The livelihood includes; 1) bodily livelihood or abstain from rubbering, corruption, all vices, illegal business, 2) verbal livelihood includes swindle by words, taunt, drivel, 3) mental livelihood referring to non-greed, non-violence, non-corruption. The mental livelihood is grouped in wholesome mental action which is most important factor to drive the other physical actions to the right goal, therefore the right verbal and physical livelihood without harm, troubling others causing the social instability, all firstly starts from mentality, hence the right livelihood teaching fits for beneficial life for everyone.
