Abstract

The purposes of this study were to examine the level of transformational leadership of administrators at Sawangboriboonwitthaya School under the Office of the Private Education Commission, to compare transformational leadership levels classified by work experience, and to propose guidelines for developing transformational leadership.

The sample consisted of 181 administrators, teachers, and educational personnel, selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a transformational leadership questionnaire based on the concepts of Bass and Avolio. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and tests of difference.

The results revealed that the overall level of transformational leadership of administrators was high. Transformational leadership levels classified by work experience were not significantly different. The proposed guidelines for developing transformational leadership emphasized establishing a shared vision, inspirational motivation, innovative thinking, and systematic individualized.
