Abstract

            The objectives of this research are to study: 1) To study the community development guidelines according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy Village model Ban Bang Tao. Bang Sawan Subdistrict, Phra Saeng District, Surat Thani Province 2) To study the conditions of community development according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy Model Village, Ban Bang Tao. Bang Sawan Subdistrict, Phra Saeng District, Surat Thani Province It is qualitative research using interviews and non-participant observation. From 5 key informants through purposive selection. Data analysis using content analysis

            From the study, it was found that 1) the conditions of community development according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of the model Sufficiency Economy Village, Ban Bang Tao. Bang Sawan Subdistrict, Phra Saeng District, Surat Thani Province Which includes: 1. Economic aspect: People in the community saw this problem and thought of solving the problem on their own. Villagers see that their community is outstanding in agriculture. and preferred farming as the main focus, so initiated integrated farming according to the principles of sufficiency economy. 2. Social aspect: To be self-reliant according to the principles of sufficiency economy, we must be able to help each other. Therefore, it is not enough for us to be successful alone, but we must have relationships with others. We must help each other, that is, help each other without expecting results. 3. Environmental aspect. It is necessary for villagers to see the importance of community resources as very valuable assets of the community. Villagers have to learn how to manage their own area in order to make the most use of their own area. 4. Technology. The community will use the wisdom of the traditional community, which is to use fertilizer to grow vegetables. We will not use chemical fertilizer. and that humans must adapt To match the natural conditions that are always changing Locally appropriate technology

Ready to be affected Having a good immune system is the third feature in the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, ready to change in various areas. Villagers must always be ready for future changes. Changes that occur are environmental. The changing weather conditions make some plants unable to be grown. Therefore, there must be leaders and knowledgeable villagers to solve such problems
