A Study of Student Attraction Factors Affecting their Decision to Study at the Undergraduate Level at Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University

Abstract
This research aimed to study the reasons for deciding to pursue a bachelor's degree and to explore the attractive factors affecting students' decisions to enroll in undergraduate programs. Additionally, it examined the relationship between decision reasons and attractive factors influencing students' choices to study at Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. The research involved 346 undergraduate students from Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University in the academic year who completed questionnaires in 2024. Quantitative data was collected through surveys and analyzed using descriptive statistics including mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient to analyze decision reasons, attractive factors, and the relationship between these variables. The findings revealed that the overall reasons for deciding to pursue a bachelor's degree were at the highest level. Similarly, the attractive factors affecting students' decisions to enroll in undergraduate programs were also at the highest level. The relationship between decision reasons and attractive factors influencing students' choices to study at Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University showed a low positive correlation, which was statistically significant at the 0.05 level. The research results should be used to develop targeted promotional strategies, such as using online media, social media platforms, and organizing educational guidance activities that directly reach high school students.
