This study aimed to 1) examine the level of transformational leadership among school administrators in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) schools and 2) compare the opinions of school administrators and teachers regarding the transformational leadership of school administrators, categorized by age, educational level, and work experience. The sample consisted of 132 school administrators and teachers from BMA schools during the 2025 academic year. The research instrument was a questionnaire with content validity ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.92. Statistical analyses included mean, standard deviation, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA.
The research findings revealed that the overall level of transformational leadership of school administrators, as well as each individual dimension, was at a high level. The dimensions, ranked from the highest to the lowest mean scores, were Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized Consideration, respectively. Furthermore, the comparison of opinions of school administrators and teachers regarding transformational leadership, classified by age, educational level, and work experience, indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the .05 level, either overall or in each dimension. These findings suggest that such personal characteristics did not influence the respondents' perceptions of the transformational leadership of school administrators in schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Department of Education.
