Abstract

This academic article aims to study ethics and social development. Ethics cannot be
separated from morality. Morality is the doctrine of right conduct. As for the main ethics of
good behavior, the foundation is based on the doctrines of religion. Philosophy and Ethical
Traditions as a System The morality is an important component, philosophy, values, and
traditions involved. Morality, ethics, these two words are words that are related in terms of
goodness.
The study found that Ethics is the right behavior both physically and verbally. It is
appropriate for a person to behave To make yourself and the people in the society around
you happy, peaceful, cool, ethical is a matter of practicing good habits. by doing it
continuously and consistently until it becomes a habit Those who truly have good behavior
must always have good feelings, that is, have "virtue" in their minds, or it can be said that
ethics is a matter of conduct as an external behavior. Morality is the state of goodness within
the mind. which both parts must be related to each other Behavior of people that are
expressed both physically and verbally. It is related and in accordance with mental and
intellectual feelings. Moral and ethical development of a person must be developed in 3
aspects concurrently, namely, intellectual, mental and behavioral development.
