About the Journal

Aims and Scop: The Journal of Contemporary Buddhist Society aims to promote the study, research, and dissemination of research articles and academic papers by researchers, academics, faculty members, students, and the general public. The journal focuses on various dimensions, including Buddhism, liberal arts, political science, public administration, interdisciplinary studies in humanities and social sciences, interdisciplinary studies in social development, as well as interdisciplinary studies in education and learning. It accepts articles in both Thai and English.

Article Publication Fees
      1. Thai Article: 4,000 Baht / Subject
      2. English Articles: 5,000 Baht / Subject
(Fee will be charged only for articles that have been accepted for publication)

Journal Publication Cycle
From the 5th year (2026) onwards, the journal will be published in 4 issues per year:
      1. Issue 1: January March,
      2. Issue 2: April June,
      3. Issue 3: July September,
      4. Issue 4: October December
 
Publication requirements
      The author who submitted the article for publication in the Journal of Contemporary Buddhist Society. Must not have been published or under consideration by a qualified person for publication in another journal. The author of the article must agree and comply with the guidelines. Format Procedure for Proposal Research Articles Academic Articles, Periscope Articles The views and opinions expressed in the article in the Journal of Contemporary Social Buddhism are the responsibility of the author of the article and not the views and responsibilities of the editorial board of the Journal of Contemporary Social Buddhism. The journal has determined that the duplication of works with the CopyCatch program in ThaiJo's system is not more than 25%.
Authors who wish to publish articles must comply with the following terms and conditions of the journal:
      1. The author must study the format and check that the writing of the article meets the format of the journal

The article must pass the format check from the editorial team, and the author must make corrections completely and accurately according to the instructions of the editorial team
      4. The content of the article and its elements must be reviewed and approved by the editorial team to be submitted to a qualified person for evaluation
      5.
The article must be reviewed by at least 3 qualified persons, and the editorial team's decision is final. In the event that your article is not reviewed and reviewed by the experts and the editorial team, the journal reserves the right not to accept the publication of the article and will not refund any refunds
      6. Journal of Contemporary Social Buddhism When it passed the quality assessment from the Thai Journal Citation Index Center. By being placed in any group journal, the author agrees to accept the results of that evaluation without dispute

The content of the article edited according to the reviewer must be highlighted in red letters so that the editorial team can check that you have actually edited it. The journal will assume that you have not edited the article according to the reviewer and send the file (Microsoft word) of the completed article to the system for a period of not more than 1 month after the journal has sent the evaluation results to the author
      8. Even if the article has been approved, it is later found that if the author cannot be contacted, and the author refuses to complete the article or the article is delayed within the specified time, the journal reserves the right to refuse to accept the publication of the article and request the cancellation of the acceptance of publication of the article. The journal will only be notified via email from the system that the author has registered.
      9. The promotion of the order to publish each article is the authority and right of the editorial team to make a decision without the permission of the owner of the article. If you find that the article and the process of submitting the article in the system are incomplete

Progress on the article is the responsibility of the article owner to follow up and inquire continuously. The editorial board will notify the journal system.

Peer Review Process: The articles submitted for publication are peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers who are knowledgeable in the field as well as approved by the editorial board. Throughout the peer review process, both reviewers and author identities are hidden from each other (double-blind review).
