Personal Career Assets of students completing compulsory education during the COVID-19 pandemic

When the COVID-19 pandemic spread around the world, education management had to adjust to a new teaching style. Therefore, this research objectives were 1) To study the level of personal career assets 2) To study the difference between personal career assets and benchmarks. For 100 students in grade 9 who studied in Secondary School of Kasetsart University Laboratory School Multilingual Program Center for Educational Research and Development Center academic year 2022 graduated the compulsory education during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was obtained by a simple random sampling. Data were collected with a measure of personal career assets consisting of 3 aspects which were 1) career interests, 2)occupational skills, and 3) personality aspects related to occupation. Each aspect had 80 questions with rating scale by answering as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 points covering 10occupational groups. General information, gender, age, and personal career assets measurement were analyzed by descriptive statistics and reported in terms of frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation. The difference between personal career assets and benchmarks data were analyzed by inferential statistics with t-test. The result of the research revealed that the average score of personal career assets grade of the sample was moderate and was higher than 16.01 at a significant level of .05.
