This open-access book, available on the Springer website, serves as a comprehensive resource for higher education stakeholders, including government officials, institutional administrators, and educators. Divided into five chapters, it aims to enhance the quality of teaching, improve higher education standards, support the transition to digital learning, and advance the connotative development of higher education. The book explores the historical context of digital transformation in education, reforms in higher education, and the role of artificial intelligence, while also presenting a new framework for higher education, strategies for its implementation, and methods for assessing and improving teaching competencies, supported by real-world examples of successful initiatives. Additionally, the book showcases real-world examples of effective teaching competency development initiatives.
