TLSOA: แนวคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมสำหรับชุมชนการเรียนรู้เชิงวิชาชีพโดยใช้โรงเรียนเป็นฐาน

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอพัฒนาการและกรอบแนวคิดเชิงทฤษฎี TLSOA (Transformative Lesson Study incorporating Open Approach) ในฐานะนวัตกรรมสำหรับการสร้างชุมชนการเรียนรู้เชิงวิชาชีพโดยใช้โรงเรียนเป็นฐาน โดยอาศัยการศึกษาพัฒนาการเชิงประวัติศาสตร์และการวิจัยระยะยาว จากการนำแนวคิดทางการศึกษาของประเทศญี่ปุ่นเรื่อง  “Lesson Study” (Jygyo Kenkyu ในภาษาญี่ปุ่น และในภาษาไทยใช้คำว่า “การศึกษาชั้นเรียน”)  และแนวคิดเรื่อง “The Open-ended Approach” ซึ่งในภาษาไทยผู้เขียนใช้คำว่า “วิธีการแบบเปิด” และปรับภาษาอังกฤษใช้คำว่า “Open Approach”  มาปรับใช้ในบริบทการศึกษาไทย บทความชี้ให้เห็นว่าการปฏิรูปการศึกษาจำเป็นต้องเชื่อมโยงภาคทฤษฎี (Theoretical Domain) ได้แก่ ปรัชญาและทฤษฎี (Philosophy and Theory) เข้ากับภาคปฏิบัติ (Practical Domain) ได้แก่ แนวทางและการปฏิบัติจริง (Approach and Practices) ผ่านการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงอย่างต่อเนื่องให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทของแต่ละประเทศ มากกว่าการถ่ายทอดหรือคัดลอกวิธีปฏิบัติโดยตรง


บทความอธิบายพัฒนาการของ Lesson Study ซึ่งมีจุดกำเนิดในประเทศญี่ปุ่นตั้งแต่ ค.ศ. 1872 และได้รับการพัฒนาเป็นวัฒนธรรมการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันของครู (Teacher Learning Together) ก่อนนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในประเทศไทยตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2542 เพื่อแก้ปัญหาการทำงานแบบต่างคนต่างทำของครู โดยพัฒนาวงจรการทำงานร่วมกัน ได้แก่ ร่วมกันวางแผนการสอน (Co-Plan) ร่วมกันสอน (Co-Do) และร่วมกันสะท้อนผลการสอน (Co-See) ควบคู่กับการใช้วิธีการแบบเปิด ซึ่งมุ่งพัฒนาการคิดทางคณิตศาสตร์ผ่านการใช้ปัญหาปลายเปิด (Open-ended problems) การเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนสร้างแนวคิดด้วยตนเอง และการปรับบทบาทของครูจากผู้ถ่ายทอดความรู้เป็นผู้สนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ของผู้เรียนและเป็นผู้เรียนรู้ร่วมกับผู้เรียน ผลการดำเนินงานอย่างต่อเนื่องก่อให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงความเชื่อของครูเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพของผู้เรียน และนำไปสู่การขยายผลในระดับโรงเรียน เครือข่ายโรงเรียน และโครงการพัฒนาครูระดับประเทศ


กรอบแนวคิด TLSOA เป็นการบูรณาการสามขั้นตอนของ Lesson Study เข้ากับสี่ขั้นตอนของ Open Approach โดยใช้ “การเปิดชั้นเรียน” (Open Class) เป็นพื้นที่เรียนรู้ร่วมกันของครู ผู้บริหาร นักศึกษาปฏิบัติการสอนในสถานศึกษา ผู้ปกครอง และชุมชน เพื่อพัฒนาชุมชนการเรียนรู้เชิงวิชาชีพโดยใช้โรงเรียนเป็นฐาน กรอบแนวคิดดังกล่าวได้รับการวิจัย ทดลอง และพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องมากกว่าสองทศวรรษ จนสามารถประยุกต์ใช้ได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมในบริบทของประเทศไทย บทความสรุปว่า ความสำเร็จของ TLSOA เกิดจากการสังเคราะห์และปรับเปลี่ยนแนวคิดเชิงนวัตกรรมให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทไทย พร้อมสร้างวงจรการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง อันเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของการพัฒนาครู การส่งเสริมการคิดทางคณิตศาสตร์ และการยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน
