Publication Ethics
International Journal of Interdisciplinary and Sustainability (IJIS) acts as an arena of conveying research findings and novel discoveries between researchers and the general public. Therefore, to ensure the academic communication is precise, high-quality, transparent, and in line with international publication standards. IJIS informs all relevant stakeholders of its operations, adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) criteria. We fully comply with its Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines.
The editors of this journal implement a rigorous triple-blind peer-review process, as well as strict ethical principles and standards, to ensure high-quality scientific manscripts are brought to the discipline of scholarly publication. the editors of IJIS take such publishing ethics concerns seriously and are trained to follow no-tolerance policy where plagiarism, data falsification, picture alteration, inappropraite authorship credit, and the like are emerged.
Authors intending to publish their manuscripts in IJIS are required to comply with the following;
- Accurately portray their research findings and provide an objective discussion of the significance of findings
- Methods and data utilized in the study must be adequately described in the report
- Any information that could be considered probable as a conflict of interest for the author(s) must be declared in the manuscript
- The manuscript should not contain any information that has already been published. Please obtain permission from the copyright or cite the source of published figures or images
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, and figure manipulation are not tolerated. Plagiarism is regarded as copying of text, ideas, images, figures, or data from another source, including your own publications without crediting the original source. Any reuse text copied from other sources must be quotes, and the original source must be cited.
Reviewers:
- Maintain confidentiality by not sharing details of the manuscript with anyone outside the journal’s editorial team
- Avoid using information for personal gain or benefits others
- Provide constructive, unbiased, respectful, and fair feedback on the manuscript to enhance the authors improve their work
- Free from the conflict of interest that might bias their review. It is included financial, personal, or professional relationship with authors or their institutions
- Should report any ethical concerns related to the manuscript i.e. suspected data fabrication, image manipulation, or unethical research practices
- Shall accept to review the manuscript adhering to their field of expertise
