THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL CHANGES AND YOUTH BEHAVIOR IN THE DIGITAL AGE

Abstract

Social change in the digital age plays a significant role in shaping youth behavior, particularly in terms of identity formation, learning, and social participation through digital platforms. Youth are a group that responds to and drives such changes rapidly by utilizing technology to build social networks and reflect new values. At the same time, technological risks, such as cyberbullying and digital media addiction, highlight the need to promote media literacy and raise awareness of safe technology use. This study concludes that Thai youth play a dual role as both recipients and drivers of social change, impacting the broader social structure.
