Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Article Evaluation Criteria
    - Articles submitted to this journal will undergo quality review by at least two peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field from various institutions.
    - Articles must be original works that have never been published or are under consideration for publication in other journals.
    - Articles must be prepared in .docx format, compatible with Microsoft Word.
    - Accessible URLs must be provided for internet-referenced documents.

  • Required Documents for Article Submission
    1. Manuscript

    3. Human research ethics certificate (if applicable)
    Note: If documents are incomplete, the journal will not proceed with the submission.

    Authors are requested to complete all information in the attached file and submit the document file during the Upload Submission step or send the document file via email to the journal coordinator at buttree_n@su.ac.th

  • Publication Acceptance Certificate
    For accepted articles, ICT Silpakorn Academic Journal will issue a publication acceptance certificate to the corresponding author without specifying the year and issue number of publication, in accordance with international standards and for appropriate journal management.
  • Scope of Articles Published in ICT Silpakorn Academic Journal
    Content falls within social sciences, humanities, and arts, including:

Author Guidelines

Article Review Policy

  • Submitted articles must never have been published before or be under consideration for publication in any other journal or publication.
  • The editorial board will check for plagiarism as the first step. All articles under consideration must pass review by at least two peer reviewers with expertise in relevant fields from various institutions, with reviewers and authors remaining anonymous to each other (double-blind review). Review results may include acceptance without revision, acceptance with revision, or rejection.
  • For articles accepted for publication, authors retain copyright but cannot republish or translate for publication elsewhere without editor consent. Content responsibility remains with authors, and the journal assumes no responsibility for content errors.

 

Publication Fees

No fees for article submission and publication. ICT Silpakorn Academic Journal is an open access journal, allowing free access to all published articles through the journal website.

 

Types of Articles Accepted for Publication

1. Research Articles 

Articles presenting complete or partial research results, including the background and significance of the problem, research objectives, research scope, related literature and research, research methodology, research results, discussion, conclusions, and recommendations.

2. Creative Work Articles

Article presenting result from artistic or creative works, including background and inspiration for creative work, objectives of creative work, scope of creative work, related information study, creative concepts, creative process and work analysis, knowledge gained from creative work, and conclusions.

3. Academic Articles

Article aimed at analyzing issues requiring academic explanation, with literature surveys supporting analysis conclusions. May involve synthesizing knowledge from various sources for systematic analysis, clearly presenting authors' academic perspectives, including rationale or background of issues to be explained or analyzed, processes, and conclusions.

4. Review Article 

Article combining concept and research result, aimed at analyzing, synthesizing, critiquing, and comparing to compile arguments on specific topics, presenting perspectives, concepts, issues, trends in knowledge, benefits, and new understanding.

 

Manuscript Preparation:

1. Authors prepare manuscripts according to specified formats matching article types, not exceeding 17 pages (including abstract, references, tables, and figures) on A4 paper in .docx format compatible with Microsoft Word.

2. For articles with tables, insert tables in content order with "Table (number)" and table description above tables.

3. For articles with illustrations, insert images in article content with "Figure (number)" and figure description below images.

4. For articles with charts, plans, maps, or diagrams, you cannot use diagram creation, line linking, text box creation, or text content insertion as objects in Microsoft Word documents.

5. Images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi, be appropriately sized for paper dimensions, and be prepared as separate image files (.jpg, .jpeg, .png).

6. Tables, figures, charts, and other materials used in articles must not violate copyright.

7. References must identify information sources cited in article content, using APA 7th edition format, with citations written in English both in content and reference list.

 

Article Submission

Authors are responsible for content accuracy. For submission consideration, the editorial board will acknowledge receipt within at least 2 weeks. Submitted articles may be returned for revision with expert recommendations within approximately 3-4 months, depending on various factors.

 

For journal submission consideration, authors must register and complete online forms with article attachments through the journal's ThaiJO system. For submission problems, contact the journal coordinator at buttree_n@su.ac.th

 

Plagiarism Check

The editorial board will check for plagiarism as the first step. If articles show over 25% duplication, particularly in results sections, the journal will not accept the article for review. Authors are advised to check their articles for plagiarism before submission.
