Desired Characteristics of Local Administrators Perceived by People’s Opinions in Non Kho Subdistrict, Non Khun District, Sisaket Province

The objective of this research was to study the Desired characteristics of local administrators perceived by people’s opinions in Non Kho Subdistrict, Non Khun District, Sisaket Province. in 6 aspects, namely: 1) individual characteristics, 2) leadership, 3) vision, 4) administration, 5) responsibility, and 6) morality ethics. The subjects were 400 people selected by consulting the Table of Taro Yamane with the reliability value at 95.5 % and the error at ± 5%, and they were sampled by simple random sampling, respectively. The instrument used for collecting data was a 3-part questionnaire including checklist, 5-rating scale, and open-ended form with its reliability at 0.9131. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.The findings were as follows : 1. the Desired characteristics of local administrators perceived by people’s opinions in Non Kho Subdistrict, Non Khun District, Sisaket Province as a whole were at high levels. When considering at each aspect, it was found that all aspects were at high levels. The ranking from the highest to the lowest mean scores were: 1) morality ethics, 2) vision, 3) individual characteristics, 4) administration, 5) responsibility and 6) leadership. 2. The others opinions and suggestions of people in Non Kho Subdistrict, Non Khun District, Sisaket Province were the local administrators should allocate the budget for local development covering all aspects the most, followed by they should give the importance to people equally, unofficial visit to get close to people for knowing their problems and give them more chances to participate with Sudistrict Administrative Organization activities respectively.
